William R Gaines Jr Veterans Memorial Park
The sculpture that I decided to write about is William R Gaines Jr. Veterans Memorial Park, which is located in Port Charlotte Fl, which acquired in 1998.
William R Gaines Jr Veterans Memorial Park is a new Park in my area, they are in the process of building sculptures and other different meaningful things that represent the park. I personally considered the “William R Gaines Jr Veterans Memorial Park as a sculpture because I have family and friends that fought for our country, to see this at my local park is very meaningful. The subject of the sculpture is a community partnership to honor Our Veterans & First Responders. The purpose of William R Gaines Jr Veterans Memorial Park is to honor veterans for their service and sacrifices made by them, family and friends. The history behind this park is William who grew up in South Florida. He joined the Marine Corps in the summer of 1981 at the age of eighteen, by the age of 21 William was killed by the largest non-nuclear bomb. William was a product of the Charlotte County community. The goal of William R Gaines Jr. Veteran Memorial Park is to honor his deep commitment to die for a country he believes in. I believe that the sculpture is saying about the community is that William believes that freedom requires sacrifices for others. The value of this sculpture is the principle of freedom, and peace for the majority. This sculpture is a full round sculpture because it stands by itself, also the size of the sculpture is perfect. People that are driving by can actually see and read the statue, and understand that this park represents something special.
This is a picture of the sculpture of IWO JIMA MONUMENTS at I found. They are planning on putting this sculpture in the park in Port Charlotte Florida which is the sculpture of IWO JIMA MONUMENTS. This sculpture values the honor and memory of the men of the United States Marine Corps who have given their lives to their country. I would say this sculpture is full round because it stands by itself, also the sculpture is a bronze statue the model of the sculpture faces are made with clay.
