Plotting My First Day At Work.

On a Monday morning I jumped out of bed at 4:55am, noticing that my alarm didn’t ring at 4am. I rushed into the bathroom to brush my teeth, hopped in the shower took a 5 minutes shower which I didn’t feel clean. As I was. getting ready for work I noticed that the time was running. I stormed out the house quarters till 5, but I scheduled to start at 5:30 am and it’s a 30 minute drive. As I was driving to work, I was speeding through the highway on 75. I was having anxiety because it was my first day at work, and I’m always on time. It was dark and all you see is car headlights. I was halfway to my job which was 15 minutes away. Until I heard a siren, I looked through my river mirror and I saw blue and red lights, I started panicking and sweating knowing that I was going to get a speeding ticket because the speed limit was 70 and I was doing 90. I pulled over, the cop came out of his car and walked up to my driver side. He asked why I was getting pulled over, I kindly told the officer I was late to work. He asked for my license and registration, I reached over to my glove department, I found my registration, I looked over my passenger side and I didn’t see my purse. I realized I left my purse at my house because I was in a rush. I was so afraid to tell the officer, I left my purse at my house because I knew I was gonna go to jail. Finally I told the officer, I remember I was so scared because I couldn’t read the officer’s face, and he looked so mean. They turned out to be very nice with the situation and understand things like that. So I was left with a warning. I pulled into my job parking lot, all I saw was two cars. I was very confused. I looked at my phone and the time was 5:30 am. I quickly parked my car, ran to the front door. The front door was locked, there was a sign saying “ Close on Labor Day”. I looked at my phone today was Labor Day. I remember I was very upset because I went through all of that and my job was close. And I wasn’t even warned about it.
