My Architecture Interiors
I decided to write about my cousin Jodie vacation house which is in Indonesia built by Alexia Dorner who is an architect. When my cousin Jodie sent me her vacation house I was in love because it made me feel like I can enjoy a vacation spot feeling like I’m home in my living room with a beautiful view of nature.
Living rooms are usually inside the house with air conditioning; not this vacation house. This vacation living room, you can enjoy the warm weather with a beautiful view. I love this part of the house because the living room is open, which plays a role in creating the essential habitat of the beauty of nature and it allows you to feel free and breathe fresh air. I like how you don’t have to feel all cramped up, to where the living room has a high ceiling which is very elegant and luxurious which opens up the room. The space in the living room is peaceful and refreshing because being in the environment where you feel relaxed with less stress, and also it will help you get things off your mind.The furniture is not something you would design your home, I love the modern vibe of the room. Something that brings out the room is the integration of lights; the sun brings natural lighting into the living room which makes the room feel warm and bright.The living room is welcoming and homey because of how open and bright it is. Something I would say that’s unique about this living room is the design and structure of the building.The cantilever structure design because one part of the building comes out more than the rest of the structure. For example the walls aren’t connected to the stairs, the roof goes off the building, which makes everything open. I personally don’t think this living room needs an update. Alexia did a great job building this vacation house. Can’t wait to visit this beautiful place in 2 months.
A place I inhabit regularly is my room because my room is a warming and comfy feeling. My room feels like you are in heaven because it’s all white; it feels open,clean, quiet and simple. In my room I have two windows, the minute I open my blinds the natural sun light of the day makes my room feel airy; while turning on my night lamplight at night it gives off a warm glow. My room is a while sized room, the structure of my room is sold.
Something that I found similar to my domestic interior as my room is that both environments are peaceful and relaxing, also both have high ceilings which makes the area spacy and open. If I had to choose I would choose my cousin’s vacation house because it’s a little more open space and it feels like you are in two places at once, because you are inside but then you are outside enjoying a view while sitting in. They both achieve their goals in different ways because the first domestic is more of a vacation spot and my room is where I always inhabit regularly.
